Background Story:

Connie is my colleague. Like most young people, she spends more time on the laptop than enjoying the beautiful scenery outside the office. One day she told me that she wanted a delicate oil painting to put on her desk, so that she could watch it from time to time, which would soothe her mood.

To me, the combination of blue sky and water is pretty pleasing. They are simple but always give people a sense of peace and beauty. It reminds me of Europe - this relaxed and romantic land. With Amsterdam as a typical representative, one of the most familiar scenes is: boats floating on the river, colorful buildings on both sides, the reflection on the river is dancing…everything feels like a fairy tale. Whenever I travel to this place, I’m always overwhelmed with happiness. So I created this exquisite oil painting, hoping to bring Connie serenity during the day.
