Background Story:

Mr.M is a very successful entrepreneur from South Africa who has been living in Shenzhen for decades and has his own company. Also, he's a person with good taste, he thinks that art is very relaxing and delightful which is a comfort to this fast-paced life. Hence, the furniture and artwork for his apartment have been well-chosen to make sure the colors match perfectly. He decided to use my creativity to lighten up his place after I showed him my works.

 

Dealing through the perception of someone who has a strong feeling toward vivid cool colors, Mr.M wanted something unique, refreshing, and abstract. The idea of the combination of water and bridge came to my mind. The Brooklyn Bridge not only represents the crossing between the past and the future but also has a symbolic meaning of connecting one's idea of success. Drawing upon the reflections of the colder colors, instilling a feeling of quiet and a better time to come.

 

The painting matches the classic art style of Mr.M's home aesthetic, setting the scene for all who view it to reflect deeply about the past, present, and future. Hence I made this piece for Mr.M to give my best wishes.
